Planetminis.com to host GEICO MiniMotoSX After-Party and Awards Presentation at Pole Position Raceway
A great way to wrap up a full weekend of racing
Irvine, CA. (March 5, 2012) – On Sunday, May 6th, the day after the Monster Energy Supercross finals in Las Vegas, you can head across town to the Orleans Arena and race yourself at the ninth annual GEICO MiniMotoSX, Fueled by Monster Energy. And to wrap up the weekend, www.planetminis.com will host the after party and awards presentation will be held just down the street at Pole Position Raceway.
The MiniMotoSX is the world’s largest Mini Bike race and the top finishers in eight adult and three youth classes as well as a Women’s class will be presented with their AMA number one plates. And the Expert riders will be handed their purse checks, which can be quite large. CHP’s Willie Browning dominated all three Expert classes in 2011 and walked away with $9,000 in purse money. All participants and fans are welcome to attend and burn laps in the Pole Position Raceway electric karts.
The Orlean’s Arena will be busy during the weekend as the opening round of the 2012 GEICO AMA EnduroCross Championship, presented by Lucas Oil will take place on Friday, May 4th. The rocks, logs, pond and other obstacles will then be removed to make room for the MiniMotoSX. The MiniMotoSX track will feature an Over-Under bridge and starting line outside the building to make room for wider racing lanes. Each MMSX entry gets an EnduroCross ticket and EnduroCross ticket holders will also get free access to the Sunday MiniMotoSX action.
The Orleans Hotel also has a special Sunday night rate for those that want to stay over after the Pole Position awards party.

Less than two months away and still no practice/race schedule posted. I would sign up if I had an idea when these times were.
